Eating Out In Oban
Eeusk on the North pier is probably the best (01631 565 666), which has a sea food restaurant and a separate pasta place, Piazza, both on the North Pier (with a red roof). The north pier is built upon an old ship that was sunk underneath it to provide additional berthing in 1870’s.
Others are: YuWu – Chinese menu with large portions, Shannigans – Mexican, Mondo’s – Italian, Irish Bar, Take-away Fish bar on the McBrayne ferry terminal (reputedly the best around). The fish and chips shop opposite Oxfam is excellent, and they even do excellent healthy meals, such as humous salad, lamb stew etc.
Most places stop serving food at 20.30, often even earlier out of season. During busy times we recommend that you book, and always check that they are open.
